Yo-Yo Ma at Greek Theater in Berkeley

It was a packed theater and there was so much respect for Yo-Yo Ma - no one talked during his show as we all wanted to hear every single note played on his cello.

Comedian and Actor Robin Williams dies at 63

Robin Williams died of an apparent suicide - citing severe depression and early stages of Parkinson's Disease...very sad.  He will be so missed...I thought he would live well into his 90s still cracking jokes and making us laugh.  Sad to see him go so soon.  Rest in peace, Robin Williams.

Beyonce and Jay Z: On the Run tour at AT&T Park

Amid rumors of marital problems, I could tell Beyonce was not happy during the first half of the show, sort of like she was just going through the motions.  Then she sang on the song about cheating in her white wedding dress and started crying, started talking to the audience "she's not half the woman I am" a few times.  Then, she seemed to feel better, smiled and laughed.  From that point on, it was a different show as she looked into Jay Z's eyes and they seemed 'all right'.  It was their last show of the US run of the tour, so this was it.  The next week, newspapers said that she was filing for divorce.  Hmm....
