I came out of the SF Powell BART station to a crowd of young Asian-American kids outside of the SF Verizon store on Market Street screaming and cheering.  Park Jaebeom, also known as Jay Park, is a Korean-American recording artist, dancer, rapper, music producer, b-boy, songwriter, composer and actor.

Dave Koz played saxophone as we lay meditating.  We all sneaked glances at him while we were supposed to be closing our eyes, and we chatted with him afterwards over wine and appetizers.  Very cool!  That's him in the 2nd picture meditating, and that's me on the right.  :)

Dog Party @ SF Apple Store

Stopped by the SF Apple Store, and Dog Party from Sacramento were playing: Get ready for Dog Party.  The band's two sisters, 15-year-old Gwen and 13-year-old Lucy, have been writing and performing their own songs for over five years.  Armed with dozens of original songs and covers of everyone from The Beatles (I Want to Hold Your Hand) to X, Dog Party proves you're never too young to rock.  They were so cute!

Glee's Jane Lynch spoke at Grace Cathedral about her life and her new memoir book "Happy Accidents" - she's down-to-earth with some parallels (not all, funny, has faith, lets life happen) to her Glee character Sue (evil, love to hate, track suits).  Pictured here with her wife, and they have a daughter together.
