$20 and a New Farmers' Market
To take a break from the mumble jumble of work, I trotted down to the San Francisco Crocker Galleria in the Financial District, to check out the new Thursday farmers' market - and wow! The usually quiet Galleria was bustling with people excited about this new avenue to fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, bread, cheese and pastries - awesome! And what a great place to have it under the natural bright light of green-tinted glass roof of the airy indoor block-length mall. I spent my $20 joyously on rasberries, strawberries, sharp cheddar cheese, a chocolate pastry for breakfast tomorrow, lettuce, cilantro, eggplant - lovely, just lovely. To health and to supporting our local farmers! This will be my ritual break each Thursday when work permits.
