U23D

Greg and I saw U23D at the local IMAX theater in San Francisco a couple weeks ago, and it is the best show by far that I have seen in a very long time. With our funny 3-D glasses stuck to our faces, it was like being on stage with Bono, The Edge, Adam and Larry as it documented a stream of concerts in South America in Brazil, Argentina, Chile up close and seemingly in your face.

I have seen U2 three times in the last 16 years, but I always had to sit in the "nose bleeds" where Bono looked a couple inches high without the aid of the big screens. U23D surpassed all of my live experiences and culminated it all into one.

I may see it again on Monday as it is only in certain locations for a short amount of time - can't wait!
